Bought a pair of leather boots&one of them is too tight at the foot part, any ideas how i could stretch it?

If they are expensive boots, and you can%26#039;t exchange them, I would take them to a boot store. They normally have methods for stretching boots. Not something I would do on my own

Put it on stand in 4in. hot water 10 min ware till dry or stuff [hard] with paper very hard let dry
Reply:Have it stretched professionaly at a shoe repair.
Reply:use castor oil. shoe trees to stretch them.

also wet the boots with water, then dry them with paper then shoe trees.

wear them often for as logn as u can.
Reply:Put polish on the boot to moisturise the leather, then stuff with fist size balls of newspaper. Make sure they are packed in as tight as possible. Leave for 48 hours and try. Its worked for me in the past.
Reply:put some hand/face cream on that part
Reply:The best thing about leather boots is that they do stretch-

You can buy shoe trees but that may not stretch it in the right place. Depending on the finish on the boot putting creams or oils or water on it can ruin it. Leather will stretch best with heat and moisture so if you can bear to wear them for short periods of time that may net you the best result. If the finish is durable then the hot water trick will be fastest.
Reply:if you can soak the boot and then wear it it witt stretch slightly but you need to dry it without heat (naturally), it works on army boots lol good luck
Reply:If you don%26#039;t want to take them to a shoe repair, I would try this: Put some water in the area that needs to be stretched. Soak it good. Then force something into the boot that would stretch that area some. Let dry and it should be stretched some. Repeat until it is stretched out as much as you need. Then again you could buy a boot stretcher or take it to a shoe repair. They would do it the same way with a boot stretcher. Good luck....
