A cat peed on my leather boots. How can I clean it?

Everyone is a comedian.....

Yep cat pee is a bugger of a smell to get out...try the links below..

Vinegar is supposed to work (?) also try using %26quot;Nature%26#039;s Miracle,%26quot; it%26#039;s found at pet stores like petsmart or petco. It may seem expensive but it is worth it. It has enzymes that destroy the smell without bleaching fabric or carpet.

Hi there...consider Nature%26#039;s Miracle Just For Cats found worldwide at most pet stores. It%26#039;s an enzymatic neutralizer which works by breaking down urine proteins by thoroughly soaking the areas affected and allowing to air dry. Repeated applications are necessary for heavily soiled areas. Leathered shoes/boots will require extra solution and if the urine seeping between the lining and soles.

We%26#039;ve tested nearly all enzyme neutralizers available in the marketplace for our exotic cats which have stronger urine than domestic cats and found that Nature%26#039;s Miracle Just for Cats has always worked the best.
Reply:spray it with a water bottle and tell it no! bad kitty!
Reply:saturate boots with natures miracle. clean thoroughly with saddle soap. as drying, re-treat with natures miracle. let dry--treat with preservative and waterproofing so next time is not so hard to clean.

enjoy kitty--will not be able to find the same spot again. promise.
Reply:sorry to hear this good luck in getting the smell out but check with a leather store and see what they recommend for this

thank you
Reply:odds are you won%26#039;t get the smell off the boots, but you can try some white vinegar and sunlight. That seems to help some.
Reply:use a light pet shampoo and try not to get any soap in your cats eyes , and that should do it
Reply:It depends on the type of leather. Also, are you trying to remove a visible stain or just the odor? Leather manufacturers recommend only water to remove a urine stain, because the ammonia in the urine can react with a cleaning agent and burn the leather. If the boots are tan suede, for example, water is probably your best bet, just blotting with a wet a cloth and blotting with a dry cloth. If they%26#039;re black leather, try the link below,

This product is supposedly designed to work on leather:
