Can I get my new leather boots altered?

They are too wide at the top and look like wellies, but they%26#039;re gorgeous otherwise, so I%26#039;d like to get them altered, but don%26#039;t know where to go - would a normal shoe repair place be able to do it?

Can I get my new leather boots altered?
Absolutely! I have gotten mine tailored to my leg at a regular shoe repair. It cost me about $25.00, but that was about 5 years ago, before I gained 20 lbs.
Reply:i work in the shoe industry and I havent heard of this beign abel to be repaired its like trying to repair shoes thats been strenched. but i dotn want to put you off, it would be worth phoning repairers up and see what they could do but make sure you get a quote first because soemtimes repairs can be the price of the boots, which it would be better to buy a new pair
Reply:take them to a good shoe repair shop and they will probably reduce the tops of your boots but it might cost you a lot of money might pay you to buy a new pair
