For this kind of procedure I would recommend taking your boots to a cobbler/ shoe repair place. This involves cutting the leather down the side to make a place for the zipper. Since it was not originally a zippered boot he%26#039;ll have to add some material to make sure it will fit back together. It can be done, but it will be a llittle pricey to do it right.

Reply:Sure you can. You will need to bring it to a tailor. They have special sweing machines and you can choose from a variety of zippers. maybe you want to make it a different color. I agree pull on boots are tough to handle. I think a zipper will make it much easier to wear. A little fabric will have to be added. Maybe make it a fun parrern. Just look in your local yellowpages to find a tailor or ask around. Good luck. It might be pricy but I think its worth it.
