Take a nail and scrape it back and forth the sole, this create the naturally scraping you%26#039;d get with use.
It sounds too painful a thing to do to a good shoe, I know, but it also avoid slippery-ness.
If you just can bring yourself to do this, go to a leather/shoe repair shop and they can put an %26quot;over-sole%26quot; I think it%26#039;s called cat-paw but I%26#039;m not sure, they should now, which is basically a sticker on the shoe%26#039;s sole that eliminates squeakiness and slippery-ness. It%26#039;s pretty thin so it doesn%26#039;t show and it%26#039;s also a pretty cheap and quick service.
