How can I stretch leather boots so they are not so tight on the leg?

Wear them around the house. You have to %26quot;wear%26quot; leather to %26quot;wear%26quot; it. So the more you wear them the bigger they will get....

How can I stretch leather boots so they are not so tight on the leg?
If you wet them in water, then wear them so that it stretches the leather. Or use an insert
Reply:go to a boot repair store.
Reply:put them on every day and walk in them till they are not so tight
Reply:Wish I had seen these answers sooner,I just put 2 pairs on ebay cos they are too tight
Reply:wear them round the house. =]
Reply:You could try stuffing them really full with towels, or if you have some large round item like a bowling ball that would work even better. If they are leather they should eventually shape out, but if not there are still cobblers out there (believe it or not!) who might be able to stretch it professionally. Try to find a small independently run shoe or leather-works store and see how much they would charge. Don%26#039;t use books or anything rectangular to stretch them because they might end up with weird lines.
Reply:soak them in water then put them on and wear them till they are dry, i know this sounds crazy butwhen you wet them they wll streach and as they dry they will shrink as long as you wear them till they are dry they wont shrink more than what your size is, i have worked leather for several years and thats how you mold the leather to the different shapes and sizes
Reply:Take them to a shoemaker (or shoe cobbler)

He%26#039;ll put a stretcher inside to

make them more comfortable.
