My cat peed on my $150 leather boots. I've tried urinegone, it didn't work. Can I machine wash them?

PLEASE!! Try Odo Ban! Get it at your Sam%26#039;s Club. It actually eliminates ANY smell....yes -- even skunk! It will also erase the stain! It works on carpet and other soft fabrics, %26amp; hard surfaces. It is the most fabulous stuff I%26#039;ve found!

You%26#039;ll find it in a gallon jug (if you%26#039;re a pet owner you%26#039;ll want it on hand anyway) in the cleaning suppy aisle. It%26#039;s a liquid. It has a nice fragrance. TRY IT

Follow these steps...

1. open cage door

2. put cat in cage

3. close cage door

4. pick up cage and shake it (2-4 minutes is normally long enough but use your own disgression)

5. release cat from cage

If problems continue repeat as many times as necessary

(sometimes the dryer might be a better option when it comes to $150 boots)
Reply:Pet stores sell a solution called %26quot;Get Serious!%26quot; you could try dapping some on a cloth and wipe the boots. It will kill the smell and keep the cat away
Reply:good lord NO. do not wash them in the machine.

go to a shoe place.
Reply:u cant wash leather
Reply:I really think you are just going to have to get new boots. But don%26#039;t try to machine wash them. Cat pee is a really really smell to get rid of.

Put leather boots in the washing machine. Your best bet is to take them to the dry cleaner, or to a shoe repair. They will only cost about $20.00 to be cleaned whereas it would cost $150 to replace them after you%26#039;ve washed them in a washing machine.
Reply:My cat peed on my daughter%26#039;s leather boots. I hand-washed them in my sink with cold water and laundry detergent only on the part that was peed on. I also used a new toothbrush to brush the stain itself. Make sure you use a new toothbrush, old ones have toothpaste residue(peroxide anyone?). I then put them on a shoe shaper so they would dry without deforming. The smell and stain came out without a problem.
Reply:do not machine wash them. Take them to a leather-smith. If you don%26#039;t want the expense, try saddle soap. If you put water on them, they will dry out and shrink.
